Yesterday we drove to visit the famous San Diego Zoo for the day.
We were thrilled the traffic was light and were super pumped to see San Diego! The grounds of the zoo are so beautiful and diverse. I loved looking at the different plants and foliage – some unique to the southern California area and others customized more to the animals’ habitats.
Let’s just get this out in the open. I have always loved Panda Bears…but there are two animals that had me swooning at the Zoo. The Koalas are the first of the two. I just want to hold and hug one! And have one of my own… 😉 The second is the Desert Fox. OH. MY. GOSH!!! This little thing is too much! The way he would lay his ears back like a happy pup and talk to his zookeeper (because who’s not excited about food?) won me over!! Of course there were other fun critters to admire…here are just a few – And would you look at these crazy critters?! It has been a small goal of mine to just have 1 photo of us at each of our special stops along this road trip… and I will tell you what – photographing Bryan is a lot like photographing these wild animals! You just have to set up your camera and click away until he cooperates…which sometimes happens and sometimes…at least it turns out memorable, haha! 😉 We have some good friends from the area, and they were kind enough to direct us to the most delicious little restaurant around!
The Hash House is unique and out of this world good!
Afterwards, we stopped by to visit our friend’s Mom at the Barber shop she owns…what a small world!
