In the Kitchen on Valentines Day

When calling a few restaurants of choice to make Valentines Day reservations and realizing we would be hungry much earlier than their 9:30 reservation openings, Bryan and I were easily convinced to stay home for the busiest Thursday night restaurants have seen in a while. While the thought of not having to do dishes seemed to hover over me, I decided to have some fun in creating a romantic night in, and to be honest, it was one of my favorite Valentines Days…..ever.

Home made card for Bryan from old Scrapbook Stickers…who needs candy hearts? 😉

Macadamia Crusted Halibut

served on warm Red Curry Coconut Sauce, topped with fresh Mango Strawberry Chutney

served with green peas and potatoes

Chocolate Fondu

We had a lot of laughs and a ton of fun in the kitchen…Bryan especially laughed when I told him this was SO much fun he should always help with dinner.
I hope your Valentines 2013 was wonderful as well and can be described just like ours –  delicious, romantic, fun, and full of love.
