I am really excited to share some beautiful views of God’s creation through our eyes over the past couple of days. Since the beginning stages of planning this road trip, Bryan was set on seeing the Grand Canyon. I am so thankful he had us drive through – because there is nothing like it! Our first evening there we ate dinner at a Lodge looking over the South Rim of the Canyon before exploring some stops for sunset.
Our next full day was spent driving to a few South Rim stops and heading all the way up to the North Rim. We stopped at the watch tower before heading on that long trek to the other side. The road was long, and a little longer when the GPS took us down this wrong turn!
After a bit of fun at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, we made our way back towards our campground.
The way back home was gorgeous to watch as the sun went down, so we also stopped back by the watch tower for some photos and time to relax in such a beautiful peaceful setting. These are not drastically edited photos by the way. I am not into that… my editing is strictly to show the way the sunset actually looked. You have to see it in person one day! 🙂
For those of you who have visited the Grand Canyon, these highlights will hopefully bring back your very own happy memories! And for those of you who have yet to visit – I am hoping this may encourage a visit in your future! And if you have some time, you might as well add Carlsbad Caverns… which will be in our next post!
