What is your Wedding Pricing?
We offer 4 All-Inclusive Wedding Photography Collections starting at a Germany-special price of $1,999.
Why don’t you charge for Travel?
We are offering our collections with Zero travel fees because we are transitioning into a mobile business and would love to photograph brides and grooms all over the world. We appreciate you considering the option of choosing us to come to wherever you are getting married for your Destination Wedding, and want you to know we are so excited about the idea of traveling and photographing you! So, as our thank you for choosing us, we will meet you there! This zero travel fee Destination Wedding Photography offer is only available with our Wedding Collections.
What do your Wedding Collections include?
Our Base Collection includes full Wedding coverage by two photographers, Digital Images with light retouching, a print release, and Social Media Gallery to share online. Our other Collections include various Lifestyle Sessions, Coffee Books and/or Fine Art Albums. We also offer A la carte items and services such as Thank You Cards, additional coverage, etc.
Why don’t you provide your Full Collection Pricing Online?
Choosing your Wedding Photographer or Destination Wedding Photographer is not something you do everyday. It is a huge investment and we understand that. When making such an important decision, I feel it is crucial for us to meet so that you choose a photographer you enjoy being around and are comfortable with. I prefer to chat with you personally over a cup of coffee or via Skype or Phone so that we can walk you through what we offer and better share details of the value behind each service or product we offer. I am NOT sales-y and only offer what I think are the wisest investments. By meeting me to go over your Wedding Photography options, you completely understand everything and are 100% confident before making your final decision.
Why is Wedding Photography Expensive?
Experience, Expertise, and Professionalism. When you hire us as your wedding photographers, you are investing in a few things. In addition for the many hours we spend behind the scenes to ensure that everything goes smooth for your wedding day, more hours spent shooting your actual wedding, and still more time editing and sharing of your images after an event, we personally invest a huge amount of time and resources to continually improve our craft as Wedding Photographers so that we continue to provide you with beautiful images that are high quality regardless of the variable conditions of each wedding day such as weather, venue lighting, etc. We also invest thousands of dollars in camera gear to give you nothing less than the best imagery of your day using cameras, lenses, and lighting with the best capabilities. As I mentioned, we know you are making a huge investment into your Wedding day photos when you book with us, and we take it very seriously. Each client is special to us, and we aim to show our couples how much we appreciate them choosing us as their photographers by offering the best customer service possible… not to mention we have our other crafty ways of showing that we love you :). Our goal is to provide clients with a signature luxury experience offering only the best products and services that we believe are worth the investment.
Where did you learn Photography?
I took photography classes throughout high school, but got serious about it during college after marrying Bryan. I was able to meet, mentor, and second shoot for the fabulous couple of David and Jess Photography, and Bryan and I have learned through courses, seminars and workshops taught by some of my very favorite photographers including Zach and Jody, Jasmine Star, Scott Robert Lim, Sue Bryce, Zack Arias, Sal Cincotta, David Beckstead, Jerry Ghionis, Lindsay Adler, and Doug Gordon. As always the best way to learn the craft is hands-on, which is always what we are doing in our free time.
Do you have liability insurance?
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
We shoot everywhere! As traveling wedding photographers determined to capture the true beauty of the environment you personally chose for your wedding, we often use a combination of natural and off-camera lighting to ensure your portraits are well lit indoors and outdoors so that we get the best lighting no matter what!
Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital Photography…for now. 😉
How many photographers do you work with?
We include 2 Photographers with every collection!
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day?
No. Because we are transitioning to a mobile business photographing both local and destination weddings, we only book a limited number of weddings each year to ensure each of our clients receives only the best service and care.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
We currently shoot with Canons (2 Canon 5D mark III’s and a Canon 5 D II for back up ) and use the following lenses:
- Canon 24-70mm f 2.8L II USM,
- Canon 70-200mm f 2.8L is II,
- Canon 16-35mm f 2.8L,
- Canon 100mm f 2.8 Macro,
- Canon 50mm 1.4 Prime
- Canon 85mm 1.8 Prime
We also carry loads of other types of gear including professional camera lighting equipment and back up equipment just in case! 🙂
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Our Wedding Collections are for Full-day coverage up to 10 hours. Additional time is definitely negotiable!
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Providing a meal is up to each bride. We generally only take a 15-45 minute break during dinner time so we make sure not to miss any special moments and spare your guests of having their photo taken while eating..which they usually appreciate. 😉
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Your Wedding Day Photo proofs are guaranteed ready for viewing in 3-5 weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Your very first sneak peek will be a few images on Facebook (and/or other forms of social media) and a Blog post with further previews from your day! Once all images are ready, an online viewing gallery is available and a USB flash drive is sent to you!
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes. We provide a print release, but retain all copyrights to our images.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
We provide all digital edited images to client on a USB flash drive and in an online gallery.
Will images be available for viewing online?
What kind of albums do you offer?
We offer Coffee Book (linen covered) Albums as well as Fine Art (Leather covered) Heirloom Albums. Read more about our Albums in our Weddings Magazine on page 12!
When will the client get the final album?
This is dependent on the time it takes Client to approve the layout and design of the images on each page. Generally it is within 16-32 weeks from the Wedding.
