For those of you who read about Francine and Thomas’s Engagement Session at Earthquake Park, I am excited to share highlights from their beautiful Anchorage Wedding at JBER’s Top of the Hill Chalet!
Francine and Thomas had been keeping in touch with me as their wedding day drew near, and I was so excited when I walked in and saw her beautiful Wedding Gown hanging in the window of her soon-to-be Mother-in-law’s home! All her bridesmaids joined her Mom and Mother-in-law to help her get ready and add to the excitement! As we followed Francine to the Wedding at the Top of the Hill Chalet, I watched rain drops begin to grow as they hit the windshield. Fortunately, the ceremony and reception were indoors and we only ran out to do Bride and Groom Portraits towards the end of the evening after their sweet First Dance to Keith Urban’s Everything. I love when Brides and Grooms have a little fun and brave the rain for their Wedding Day portraits, because A) They still look amazing all dressed up and capture the true essence of their wedding day, and B) “Life is not about waiting for storms to pass; it’s about learning to dance in the rain.” -Vivian Greene
Francine and Thomas were AMAZING sports about it all, and we had a lot of fun photographing their sweet Wedding Day excitement. Congratulations once again Francine and Thomas! We had a great time sharing in your Wedding Celebration and hope that you relish each of life’s blessings you share together! Congratulations!! Enjoy a few Wedding Day Highlights in the slideshow at the bottom!
