This past Monday we had the fun opportunity to photograph Francine and Thomas’s Anchorage Engagement Session. Due to the crazy random snowfall the week prior, we postponed our original date and lucked out with beautiful partly sunny warm weather. B-) Francine cracked me up because immediately I could tell she was quite shy, but it didn’t but a walk in the park to warm up to each other and before long we were chatting and shooting away.
Francine and Thomas met almost 4 years ago, and cannot wait to be husband and wife. Thomas works in the National Guard and he and Francine enjoy being here in Alaska. They showed us all around Earthquake Park which was peaceful and beautiful. Bryan and I will probably have to get our bikes out and ride the trails sometime over the summer!
Earthquake Park made for a beautiful location for Anchorage Engagement Photos with its winding trails, natural beauty and outlooks over the water and Downtown Anchorage. Aside from a few bike riders, joggers passing through and the occasional Moose “evidence” it was a quiet and peaceful evening with clients that started feeling more like friends by the end of the night. And hey, it wouldn’t be an Alaskan Engagement without the occasional Moose or Bear “evidence”. 😉
