AK2VA Summer Cross Country Road Trip Update : Orlando

AK2VA Header

Wow this past week has been a fun and refreshing one! After arriving to Bryan’s hometown in St. Cloud, we relaxed a bit before the men headed off with friends to fish in the deep blue sea. While they were gone, Bryan’s Momma and I had a blast! She took me to a few places she grew up around and we both admired the beauty and serenity of old Florida. I just loved the Moss hanging from the beautiful live Oaks. The Art Center of Maitland is incredibly beautiful and the historical artist colony is adorably quaint.

Β

We also visited the Audubon Rehabilitation Center for Birds of Prey – which started out as a tiny house and has grown to be a wonderful haven for rehabilitating and releasing thousands of birds into the wild each year.

When the men came home, we spent time relaxing in Bryan’s parents’ beautiful home and yard (his Momma has quite the green thumb!), visiting family and friends (if we didn’t see you we sure missed you and hope to see you next time!), and of course, a little time at Disney! Here is our life this week via iPhone πŸ™‚ –

It has been a wonderful and relaxing time and we hated to say goodbye and load back up (especially Maya who finally learned how to swim!), but we are looking forward to settling into our new home in Virginia, and are heading that way! πŸ™‚
